Screening

CRY’s cardiac screening services aim to make testing more accessible for young people, helping to save lives by identifying heart conditions early.

Research

CRY’s research programme focuses on preventing young sudden cardiac deaths and supports clinical services in cardiology and pathology. This research also enhances CRY’s support and screening services, offering vital insights to safeguard young lives.

Support

Support is at the heart of everything CRY does. Through the myheart network, CRY offers support to young people who have been diagnosed with a cardiac condition. Families affected by young sudden cardiac death can access specialist services, including bereavement support and clinical testing for family members. CRY-trained bereavement supporters volunteer their time, ensuring families receive compassionate care.

Awareness

Raising awareness is a key priority. CRY provides free materials, online resources, and medical information to educate the public and healthcare professionals. This work ensures more people understand the risks of cardiac conditions in the young.

Fundraising and Governance

CRY supports fundraisers by offering advice, materials, and ensuring funds are properly allocated and acknowledged. The charity is committed to transparency and minimizing costs while working towards its mission of saving young lives.
