A myheart members’ video meeting is planned for Saturday, 18th October 2025 between 10am and 12pm.
Meetings are free to attend and give members an opportunity to meet and discuss their experiences in an informal but supportive environment. Those young people that attend these meetings usually find them very helpful. It does not matter how long ago you were diagnosed or whether you are undergoing any sort of treatment at the moment.
There will be a question and answer session with Dr. Raghav Bhatia, Consultant Cardiologist and service lead for Inherited Cardiac Conditions and Sports Cardiology at NHS Humber Health Partnership, Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. He is also a lecturer at City St. George’s, University of London, and serves as a cardiologist for Cardiac Risk in the Young and the My Heart Network. In this session, members can ask questions they have about their condition, the exercise/s they can do or any other cardiac concerns they may have especially with regards to current circumstances.
If you have questions about your condition or would like to virtually meet other young people, aged 18 to 35 (some places are reserved for members between 36 and 39), coping with the diagnosis of a heart condition register for the next myheart meeting. The meeting is for myheart members who have suffered a cardiac arrest, have an ICD or are being considered for an ICD or have been diagnosed with an inherited cardiac disease.
Please note that registrations for this meeting will close on Monday, 13th October 2025 at 9am.
Please contact the myheart coordinator at myheart@c-r-y.org.uk if you have any questions about the meeting or if you are not already a member and would like to join myheart, register here.
