A few more tests

For those of you following my story, you will be aware that I went to the doctor worried that my WPW had returned. Since then, I had another consultation with a cardiologist who confirmed that it wasn’t WPW, but explained that what I was feeling was most likely an ectopic beat. This is perfectly normal, but can be what triggers the palpitations associated with WPW. It’s quite odd for me to feel this ectopic beat and realise that had I not been ablated, I would be having an episode at that moment…

So I am relieved that my condition hasn’t returned, but to be completely sure it’s not a symptom of something else I’m having a few more tests done at the end of the month. Fingers crossed that’ll put me in the all clear for good!
