I suffered a cardiac arrest four years ago but I am still undiagnosed! by Lee Gerrard

I was 32 when I had my cardiac arrest. I was with my best mate and my fiancee who was 8 months pregnant.

I have no recollection of the day, no symptoms  and no chest pains. I remember pretty much everything up until the attack.

I have had various tests to see a cause but this still remains unknown.

Luckily my best friend knew CPR as was ex army. There is a separate article of my story in the Portsmouth News under Lee Gerrard which you can read here.

I’m still left shaken up by the ordeal, not knowing my future fate but also the reason why. I now have an ICD as a precaution but would love to see my story told as I want others to know that they are not the only ones out there.
